Time with "just the gals"

Hi everyone, here are some pics of my Mom, Martin's mom Hildagard and I. Martin went fishing on Pine island for a few days, so the "girls" could have some time to hang out...............REALLY!!! We WANTED them to go fishin"!!
We made home made pizza's, which they loved. We spent a full day in Naples, shopping, out for lunch, then off to the beach. The next day, I had my hairdresser come to the house to give them cuts, Mom loves hers. We were supposed to drop Hildagard back off on Pine Island this day, but she wasn't quite ready to go......He!He!
So, we called the guys and hung out at the pool here.
I brought them to our amazing Thrift stores here, we went to the Lion's Club, there was something for everyone........they were very happy!!! Each spent 2 dollars.
When we got back to the guys...........we went for a great boatride around the mangrove...........mom really enjoyed. The visit was capped off with a beautiful sunset!!

Marco Island and Goodland's

Hi everyone, hope all are well. Mom's visit down here has been great!! I'm so glad she is healthy, and wanting to check out new things............because there sure is alot to see around here.

We had our first beach day at Marco Island yesterday....it is a very cool area, remote and completely different from other beaches we've seen. When the tide is out, it's about a 1/2 mile wide...very cool.
Then we went off to Goodlands, which is a separate Island, to a place called Stan's........(world renowned....I'm sure), but since it was so busy, we ate lunch first at The Lodge, which has live music out on the big patio.......What a blast for all. Then we made it to Stan's.............Enjoy the pics.

Tonight I surprise Martin and Mom with a concert at our SouthWest music Hall in Fort Myers. We are going to see The Canadian Tenors...........I can't wait to see their faces when they see where we are going.....xo

Lunch in a fishing Town!

Hi everyone, Mom and I were able to get away for a fresh fish lunch in a great fishing town called Matlacha. it is known for having the "most fished off bridge in North America."
Martin and his family went to Applebee's in North Fort Myers, I wanted to take the time to "hang out" in matlacha with Mom. It has one road in/out from Fort Myers, and Punta Gorda. if you keep on going, you come to Pine Island, which is where Martin's parents are. His Dad is an avid fisherman.
It's a little "artsy" town filled with good food, and art galleries of all different tastes.
I KNOW many of you would love it there.
