Mom's last Broohah of 2012

Hi everyone, just including some pics of last nights Birthday celebration at this fantastic club, called The Sandy Parrot. A friend, Mary has the same birthdate as Mom, so she invited us to join, and combine celebrations......Martin joined us later, after the year-end Baseball banquet.

Mom's 84th Birthday!

Hi everyone, just wanted to include some of the celebration pics from Mom's surprise birthday, last evening, I surprised her with a few friends for drinks and cake last night.......that's probably when all of the family was trying to call:)...... Today March,29, is her actual day, but we are going out to celebrate with friends who have the same birth date tonight. She is actually up for going to a place called, The Sandy Parrot, it's supposed to be good Island food, and live music.......should be fun!!.......Uncle Peter showed up to give Birthday wishes this AM.
Mom goes home on Sunday, we had a great time, always busy, but managed some R&R when needed, especially at the pools. Martin and I leave to go back, April 15th, or there abouts...........see some of you soon:)

Corkscrew Bird Sanctuary!

Hi everyone, here are some pics of our walk yesterday through a beautiful bird sanctuary, just South of us. We got to see many different birds and a few gators in their natural habitat. The Cypress forest is so interesting and all of the foliage is so nice to walk amongst. They built a boardwalk through the jungle, you can't even imagine how that would be......Mom loved it:), they have wheelchairs, so she walked when she wanted to and I pushed her when she didn't...........It worked out great!
She will be going back, next Sunday, it has been another great visit, we are so lucky to be able to have this time together, I was definately more busy this year, but we are enjoying having some R&R time now.

concert festivity!

Hi everyone, here are a few pics of  the Belles weekend concert, all made up, and the stage, which I decorated, with loads of help. I had some gals to help me bring my centrepiece idea to fruition.........thank-God for helpful people.........makes "it" all go around:):)
After all of the work.........it took only 45 minutes to tear everything down....:(:)......now for One pitch for Martin and aquafit for Mom still......and some R&R and slow paced day trips:).........AHHH!!!!!!

Fun with new friends from home

Hi everyone, hope all are well. We hear the weather has been very mild back home, so my Mother will be happy not to have to deal with left over snow:)
New friends from home, Jane and Thom stayed in the trailer section of our park for 5 days......we had a blast! Great timing! There was a Bluesfest over last weekend, and I was able to bring them kayaking in the Estero River, some of you who have been here with me will recognize.......very cool place.
