Things are winding down here.......PHEW!!! It's been a busy season.Our home is all done, and the visits with friends who were able to make it were great.....the visit with Mom, as you saw was so much fun, and will be fondly remembered.
After the baseball season and my singing concert done....there is now time to move to a slower drum beat.
Martin and I were lucky to have friends down in the Bradenton Beach area, who rented a house boat. To all of our delight, the owner wanted to do work on the boat and offered them a 55 ft. Hateras.......what a beauty!!!
We were able to take 4 days, 3 nights and hang out on Anna Maria. To those who know the area, you know how beautiful it is in the Sarasota/ Siesta Keys neck of the woods. St. Armande Circle is a large circular shopping area, with a Yorkville flaire.....very neat shops, it's a part of Long Boat Keys. I had never been to this area, it's above Englewood and Venice, but only 2 hrs. away.
Here are some pics of our adventures, including the tail-end of that tornado that went through Tampa Bay, but just touched Bradenton.
This is a cool little Town, that I highly recommend taking the time to see, if you can. There is the long pier, with typical night fishing, and even a Parisian crepe restaurant.......MMMM!!!!
